Your Partner in Energy Compliance

Conducted by a qualified non-domestic energy assessor, the evaluation includes factors like insulation, HVAC systems, lighting, and building materials. The data is used to calculate the EPC rating, which ranges from A+ (most efficient) to G (least efficient), helping businesses comply with energy efficiency standards.

Under the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) Regulations, from 1st April 2023, it became unlawful to continue to lease or sell a commercial property with an EPC grade F or G unless certain exemptions apply. The regulations is likely to be amended in the near future requiring landlords of non-domestic buildings to have secured a C rated EPC certificate by 2027 and B rated by 2030 to continue letting the property.

Expert Assessments for Compliance

For businesses and property owners looking to improve energy efficiency and comply with legal regulations, a non-domestic energy assessment is a crucial step. It evaluates how efficiently a commercial building uses energy and provides an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), which rates its overall performance. The MEES Report s helps identify areas where energy savings can be made, reducing operational costs, environmental impact and can be used to enter the governments green deal scheme which allows costs to be spread over time

A non-domestic energy assessment ensures compliance with commercial energy efficiency standards while helping businesses make informed, cost-effective upgrades. Upgrades such as LED lighting, better insulation, and renewable energy solutions can improve efficiency, lower carbon emissions and reduce bills.
